We will explore the Curve Ruler with Mini Ruler.
This package of rulers features two different rulers made expressly for marking curves plus a handy ½ inch wide mini ruler. The Curve Ruler with Mini Ruler set features clear rulers with clearly marked ¼” guidelines that are easy to read. The larger curved rulers also include a dotted 5/8” line especially for marking traditional seam allowances.
The transparent nature of the Curve Ruler with Mini Ruler set makes it simple to add varying widths of seam allowances or draft from point to point with ease, unlike traditional metal rulers.
The curved rulers consist of a French curve ideal for drafting necklines and armholes and marking accurate seam allowances through these curvy areas. The second curved ruler is designed as a hip curve for shaping side seams of skirts, slacks, dresses, and long jackets. The ruler markings are perfect for adding wider seam allowances to side seams for easier garment fitting.
